17th Edition Update *now closed*
The City & Guilds 2382-20 17th Edition Update course is designed for people who have already achieved a valid 16th Edition qualification or equivalent (see below). If your 2381 qualification was obtained prior to June 2001 you will need to attend the three day 2382-10 course and take the full online examination
This one day course updates candidates on the significant differences between the 16th and 17th editions. It focuses on the main additions and alterations that have been incorporated in the BS 7671 2008 17th Edition.
The course ensures that students are conversant with the format, content and the application of the current edition of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: 2008 17th Edition.
The course consists of classroom instruction and culminates in a multiple choice online test covering the underpinning knowledge relating to the content and application of BS 7671 17th Edition.
The exam is ‘open book’, meaning during the one hour 30 question exam you will be able to refer to BS7671 (17th edition).
The course fee includes; City & Guilds Examination Fees, Comprehensive Course Notes, Refreshments and a Buffet Lunch.

Pre-requisites
Delegates MUST hold at least one of the following qualifications:
- C&G 2381 16th Edition. Certification must be for:BS7671:June 2001
- C&G 2330 Level 3 in Installation (Buildings & Structures) or Maintenance
- C&G 2360 Level 3 Part 2. Certification date must be from Jan 2004 onwards
A copy of the relevant certificate must be provided before examination entry.
