City & Guilds 2391-10 – Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations to BS7671
This four day course covers the requirements of BS 7671 for inspection, testing and certification and is designed to prepare candidates for both the written and practical examinations.
A qualification suitable for candidates wishing to carry out both Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing.
Course Details
Candidates gain the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the inspection and testing procedures by practicing on purpose-built training rigs which simulate electrical installations. The full 2391 qualification is gained by the successful completion of both a written examination and a practical assessment. The written exam is 2.5 hours and takes place on dates set by City & Guilds throughout the year.
The exam is always on a Thursday evening from 6.30-9.00 and is usually in the week after the course. The practical assessment takes 3/4 hours and is completed after the course finish date.

Course Entry Requirements
We strongly recommend that candidates have the City & Guilds 2382 prior to taking this course, though this is NOT a mandatory entry requirement.
